# Solveig

> Solveig is a vocabulary practice web app for English speakers learning French, Spanish or Swedish. It combines prepared flashcards, typed recall, pronunciation, example sentences and adaptive spaced repetition.

Official website: https://learnsolveig.com/. Learners choose their course during account setup and can switch courses in Account. Each course keeps separate vocabulary progress. Public pages are in English; English is currently the supported language for meanings and answers.

New words are introduced with their meanings and examples. Learners later recall meanings from memory; corrections and review scheduling follow their answers. The Progress page shows learning progress per word. Prepared courses focus on common vocabulary, not a complete grammar or conversation curriculum. Vocabulary progress does not guarantee fluency or a particular comprehension percentage.

Free practice includes pronunciation and progress tracking. Solveig Plus adds unlimited practice and an AI tutor for word questions. Current pricing is shown on the homepage. Private learner progress, accounts and tutor conversations require authentication and are not public reference material.
